Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to join our team at TollyClassic Delivery, a leading warehouse and logistics company. The Account Officer will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and manage ledgers, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Ensure all financial records are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Verify and reconcile invoices and payments.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and report on budget variances and suggest corrective actions as needed.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.
Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Process payroll for company employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll laws.
Maintain payroll records and handle payroll-related queries.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Implement and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the logistics or warehouse industry.
Proven experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based at our Abuja warehouse.
The role be at the office Mondays - Saturdays.

Salary
N150,000 / Month
