Job Title: Business Analyst - Oil and Gas
Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the healthcare, hospitality, facility management, and oil and gas sectors.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements for new projects or process improvements.
Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards business goals.
Report and collaborate with management in the progress and implementations of best practices to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that address business needs and requirements and evaluate proposed solutions, technologies, and tools to determine their feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to support decision-making, process improvement and optimization
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to share insights, discuss recommendations, and align on next steps.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles within the healthcare, hospitality, facility management, or oil and gas sectors.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare, hospitality, facility management, or oil and gas sectors.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Solid understanding of business processes, workflows, and systems within the healthcare, hospitality, facility management, or oil and gas industries.
Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean, is desirable.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the healthcare, hospitality, facility management, or oil and gas sectors is preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry events.
