Job Description
The Procurement Specialist is to lead strategic supplier management, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-effective procurement.The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless logistics operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our supply chain.
Responsibilities
Establish supplier list and common material/service listReviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.Purchasing the products and services on time for the requesting departments.Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc."
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business management or a similar field preferred with at least 3 years of experience.
Competencies and Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.Supervisory and management experience.Attention to detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
